The Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation (MCHFoundation) has launched the All In For Nurses Initiative to support the recruitment and retention of qualified nurses for the healthcare providers in our community.  Before we can recruit nurses, we must inspire them to become nurses.  Our INSPIRE PLUS award pairs a graduating high school senior with a local donor who is pledging $5,000 per year in support to a student studying to be a registered nurse (RN).  This is the highest scholarship award offered by the MCHFoundation, and allows the student to count on this scholarship for each of their undergraduate years.  (Note: students who change their field of study mid-way through their college years are also eligible to apply provided they are entering a RN program.)

MCHFoundation is campaigning to inspire local high school students to pursue careers in health care to help meet the critical need for future healthcare professionals.

Thanks to the generosity of local donors, MCHFoundation has awarded over  $300,000 in scholarships since 2021.
